The suspects Roanoke Police were searching for after two separate carjackings have been caught.

Last night, officers arrested Mathieu Bonhomme Jr., age 19, of Roanoke, and Kason Anthony Brown Jr., age 18, of Roanoke. Both have been charged with one count of carjacking in relation to the Valley View incident. At this time, they are both suspects in the Northview carjacking as well. They may also face additional charges.

Both men were also served unrelated warrants for failure to appear in court. They were both taken to the Roanoke City Jail.

Both of the carjacked vehicles have been recovered.

Roanoke Police are looking for two men wanted in two separate carjackings Tuesday morning.

It all started just before 4:00 a.m. in the 4700 block of Valley View Boulevard after someone called in a stolen car.

A 20-year-old woman told police she was headed to work from the parking lot when she saw a man coming up to her.

She got back into her car and locked her doors.

That's when the man came up to her with a gun and told her to get out of the car.

The man as well as another man got into the 2001 green Ford Escape and drove off.

The vehicle was later found on Valley View Boulevard toward I-581.

The woman was not hurt.

A few hours later, just after 7:30 a.m. officers were called to the 2700 block of Northview Drive for a report about another stolen car.

Authorities say two men threatened a 61-year-old woman and drove off in her 2014 Honda Civic.

She was not hurt.

She did tell officers that she did not see a gun during the theft, but the man held his hand in his pocket so she assumed he had one.

In both incidents, the two men involved were described as black males, one wearing a white Hollister shirt, and the other wearing a dark Virginia Tech hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
