Rocky Mount Police Chief returns following investigation

ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (WDBJ7) - Rocky Mount’s police chief is back on the job Monday following an investigation that resulted in a period of paid and unpaid leave.

The town said three complaints were filed against Chief Ken Criner. Town officials would not specify if those complaints came from within the department or from the public.

Officials said the complaints were non-criminal in nature.
