SeaQuest Aquarium coming to River Ridge mall this summer, brings 75 new jobs

SeaQuest, a 'hands-on interactive animal experience,' has announced that it will be opening at River Ridge Mall late this summer.

The petting store is said to hire 75 full and part-time employees and is also looking to partner with community-based organizations.

SeaQuest's newest location will feature over 22,000 square feet of interactive animal adventures from all over the world. Guests can expect to see exotic sea life from the Caribbean Cove to tropical birds tropical birds from the Amazon Rainforest.

“We are very excited to bring SeaQuest to Lynchburg,” says Elsa MacDonald, SeaQuest Vice President of Marketing. “As guests interact up close with the diverse array of exotic species, our goal is to create a fun, memorable, and educational experience. If we can do that, our hope is to cultivate an appreciation of our planet, and our environment in the lives of our guests.”

Guests will be able to journey through realistic themed exhibits and be able to feed animals such as sharks.
