Senior Alert issued for man in Arlington

The Virginia State Police Department has issued a Senior Alert for 78-year-old James Oliver on behalf of the Metropolitan Police Department.

Police describe Oliver as a 6’ tall, white male with blue eyes and gray hair who weighs approximately 190 lbs.

Oliver was last seen in Arlington around 3 p.m. Sept. 19, walking near the intersection of North Wakefield Drive and 24th Street. He was reportedly wearing a blue blazer, silver shirt, pink neck tie and blue jeans.

He suffers from a cognitive impairment, and his disappearance is believed to pose a credible threat to his health and safety.
