Burn bans continue as dry weather continues

By  |

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7)-- The dry stretch of weather has prompted several counties to issue bans on open burning.

Open air burning is considered the burning of any brush, grass, leaves, or other vegetation, as well as any other combustible material that is not contained in an approved container.

Campfires are also prohibited in the burn ban areas. See your area's government website for the complete list of bans.
