Alleged accomplice in Botetourt County bank robbery arrested

BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Update:

Roanoke Police have identified Jessica Huffmyer, 35, as an alleged accomplice in a bank robbery in Botetourt County. She has been arrested and is charged with robbery.

The male suspect is still at large.

The Roanoke Police Department is asking anyone with information about the male suspect contact them at 540-344-8500.

The FBI has released a href="https://bankrobbers.fbi.gov/robbers-container/2019-11-19.9309943118/@@poster.pdf">wanted poster as part of its investigation into a bank robbery in Botetourt County.

Around 4:30 p.m. November 7, 2019, the Botetourt County Sheriff's office responded to a call about a robbery at the Carter Bank & Trust on Route 460.

According to Botetourt County Sheriff's Office, the robber showed a gun and demanded money before leaving in a silver two-door car.

He is described as a heavy-set Hispanic male, with tattoos on his face, facial hair and glasses. He wore gloves, a dark hooded jacket with a light-colored shirt underneath, dark pants, a tan bucket-style hat with a chin strap and athletic shoes.
