LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - About 400 University of Lynchburg students moved in Saturday. Upper classmen helped freshmen unload their belongings and guided them to their dorms. Some will live in a brand new residence hall.
Vice President and Dean of Student Development Aaron Smith said it was a great day for move-in--not too sunny or hot.
"This is the next chapter in their life; I've talked to a lot of students today, I've talked to a lot of parents as well, and there's a lot of nervousness, there's a lot of excitement," Smith said.
The students say they are looking forward to what their freshman year will hold.
