Teams participate in annual Big Lick Train Tug fundraiser

People were tugging away Saturday at the the Big Lick Train Tug--an annual fundraiser to benefit the Presbyterian Community Center. It took place at the Virginia Museum of Transportation.

Teams enrolled to tug the historic 611 train fifty feet, competing for time.

"We just thought something built around something that's so traditionally Roanoke would be fabulous for us," Karen McNally, Executive Director of the Presbyterian Community Center, said.

There was also food trucks, local craft beer, and activities for kids.
