Volunteers are preparing for New Freedom Farm's Second Annual Freedom Fest. New Freedom Farm provides equine-assisted therapy and suicide prevention for first responders and military veterans.
Service men and women, and their families will enjoy food, fun, and music.

"This is my first time coming to the festival travelled all the way from Vermont, 900 miles, " said John Rosploch, a retired Army veteran who has received help from New Freedom Farm. "When you're in the service, it's a brotherhood; we get to relax, let our guard down a little bit, have some fun and know we're in a safe place."

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. All ages are welcome and the admission is ten bucks, all proceed benefit the nonprofit.
