Trump supporters line up early for town hall at Hotel Roanoke
Donald Trump supporters got in line early Monday morning to get into the town hall meeting.
Before the sun came up, a handful of people were waiting outside the doors of The Hotel Roanoke.
Some supporters are from the area. Others are putting in lots of miles to support their candidate.
"Our journey started at 11 p.m. from Knoxville. We got in the car, drove four hours, got here at three in the morning and have been here ever since,” said Trump supporter Tyler Roach.
One supporter says he thinks Trump's decision to choose Indiana Governor Mike Pence as a running mate is a good idea.
"I think that's a great pick and you had to know, Trump is very methodical and Pence is a great guy,” Chris Miller said.
Both supporters plan to follow Trump on the campaign trail this election season.
