Deputies rescued a fawn two separate times Tuesday morning in Martinsville.

Deputy Thompson and Hall successfully rescued a fawn from the annex of a fence Tuesday morning.

Little did the two deputies know, they would then be rescuing the fawn a second time after they went to go check on the baby deer only to find it sitting in a pile of debris near Jones Creek getting ready to fall in the creek.

Thompson and Hall then rescued the deer a second time and placed it away from the creek in a brush line where it could later reunite with its mother.
