UPDATE: Juvenile and man shot on Maple Avenue SW in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) UPDATE:

One of the two people shot Sunday morning in Roanoke was a juvenile male, according to Roanoke Police.

He was found shot in the 1300 block of Maple Avenue SW and was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Later, a man showed up to the hospital with gunshot wounds associated with the same incident.

Both the juvenile and the man are facing non-life threatening injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Two men were taken to the hospital after being shot in the 1300 block of Maple Avenue in Roanoke early Sunday morning.

Reports for the shooting came in at 12:24 a.m.

The two men are facing non-life threatening injuries. Police have not released their identity.

Police have not said if they are searching for a suspect and that the two people shot are not cooperating with the investigation.

This is the second shooting on Maple Avenue in just over a week. Milton Roman, 28, from New York, was shot and killed on Maple Avenue Saturday, February 2.

Police are still investigating both shootings.
