Woman found safe after Lynchburg robbery accused of being involved

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7)-- UPDATE: The woman who appeared to be abducted along with the robbery at the Five Star Mart Saturday aided in the crime, Lynchburg police say.

After a search warrant was carried out early Sunday morning in the 800 block of Greenfield Drive, police determined the total number of people charged should now be four.

All suspects are in custody, including Christopher Doss, 23, of Lynchburg who is charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Grand Larceny, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Abduction, and Carjacking.

Dakota Finchum, 21, was also handed Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Grand Larceny, and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony charges.

Marqutez Fisher, 27, received charges of Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Grand Larceny, and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony.

Finally, Makayla Dodson, 20, of Lynchburg, has been charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Grand Larceny, and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony.

The case still is being investigated, as all four suspects are being held in the Lynchburg Detention Center without bond.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Lynchburg Police Department is investigating an armed robbery and kidnapping that occurred at the Five Star Mart Saturday night.

Officers responded to 2900 Memorial Avenue for a report of an armed robbery and kidnapping.

Two white males, one with a firearm and one with a knife, entered the store and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

On their way out of the store, the male with the knife abducted a female customer at knifepoint.

They left in a vehicle that may be stolen.

The first male is described as 5'8" to 5'9", 220 to 240 pounds, with red hair, a chinstrap beard, and a tattoo on the top of his left hand. He was wearing a blue long sleeved button down shirt.

The second male is described as 5'9" to 5'10" and 180 pounds with brown hair and a chinstrap beard. He was wearing a black long sleeved shirt.

The vehicle they left in is a grey four door of unknown make and model that has a black front fender on the driver's side.

This is an ongoing investigation.
