Teens arrested for murder of man found dead in car
Two teenagers have been arrested for the murder of a man found dead in a car Tuesday.
Skyler Bryant, 20, of Bassett, was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in a car along Erwin Street in Henry County.
The Henry County Sheriff's Office said a 15-year-old is charged with 2nd-degree murder, robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of murder, use of a firearm in the commission of robbery, possession of a firearm by a juvenile felon and conspiring to commit robbery.
A 17-year-old is charged with felony homicide, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and using a firearm in the commission of a robbery.
Both teens are in custody; their names have not been released.
Sheriff Lane Perry said his office is investigating apparent plans between the victim and suspects to exchange drugs, but it turned into a robbery. More arrests are possible.
