Virginia Museum of Transportation hosts an "Egg-Cellent Adventure"

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Families celebrated Easter early this year at the Virginia Museum of Transportation. Kids joined in two Easter Egg Hunts with 2,500 eggs. The Easter Bunny was available for photos, and kids got the chance to get their faces painted.

The museum called the event an "Egg-Cellent Adventure."

"We took pictures with the Easter Bunny and we saw all the exhibits . . . It was really awesome, it was educational as well as fun," Jennifer Varca, who attended with her son, said.

Train rides were also available for the kids outside of the museum.
