ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Water authority officials say that the intersection of Wells Ave NE and Kimball Ave NE in downtown Roanoke will remain closed through Tuesday morning as crews work to repair pipes that burst near the Hotel Roanoke.

Crews are at the scene of a water main break near the Hotel Roanoke.
Officials with the Western Virginia Water Authority say a 12-inch pipe on Williamson Road burst at the intersection of Wells Ave NE and Kimball Ave NE in downtown Roanoke.
They say it will take approximately four to six hours to repair. They say water is in the road there.
