CHARLOTTE, NC. (WDBJ) -- The Charlotte Hornets gave former Hokie Ahmed Hill a whirl on the practice court ahead of the NBA draft in June.
Hill ranked 12th in the ACC for three point percentage this past year and stood out for his offensive performance at the 2019 Portsmouth Invitational, the very skills he wanted to showcase in Wednesday's workout.
"I think it went really good. A lot of great guys out here. A lot of really great competition. I've been watching these guys on TV from different schools. You know, I think we came out here and competed today. Everyone had a chip on their shoulder and throughout the workout, I thought I got better. Making shots consistently. Making plays for others. Coming off ball screens. Hitting it big, making plays from that. Pulling up. Just pretty much the all around game. Whatever they need me to do, I'll do it," Hill said.
