Alleghany at Radford

RADFORD, Va. (WDBJ7)-- Over at Radford, the Bobcats were taking on the Mountaineers from Alleghany County.

Here the Radford's Darius Wesley-Brubeck gets things going with a big run, setting up Radford's first touchdown of the night.

The Mountaineers responded with a long pass from quarterback Brian Broughman to halfback Dylan Burton, but they just weren't able to capitalize, handing things back over to the Bobcats.

A few plays later, offensive lineman Alex Kanipe is in the right place at the right time, snagging a dropped ball, and then just doing what linemen do, plowing through defenders All. The. Way. To. The. Endzone.

Radford just kept dominating the ball from there, this time it's Alex Howard who takes the pass all the way to the house.

Skipping ahead, Radford was up 35-0 late in the first quarter, when Mountaineers Runningback Mat Howell scoops up the kick and finds a huge hole, sprinting down field to finally put Alleghany on the board.
But that didn't stop slow down the Bobcats, because here comes Wesley Brubeck once again for yet another touchdown.

Radford went on to win 72-6.
