ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7)-- Auburn stepped out of the public school ranks to face off with North Cross this afternoon.

A beautiful day for a football matinee off 419 and Colonial Ave.
North Cross QB Gabe Zappia taking advantage of an early Auburn turnover. He goes deep for Ian Cann. Raiders strike first without the extra point.

Zappia was at it again a little later, this time to Zae Baines in the second quarter and the Raiders were up two scores.

Auburn struggled to get much traction on offense. Carlton Ward flying around and comes up with the tackle for loss in the backfield.
