Early in the first quarter, the Indians tried to go deep, but Isaac O'neil's pass is broken up and Auburn forces a quick 3-and-out.
Auburn's first play of from scrimmage and Triston Perry rushes up the right side, breaks several tackles and rumbles 77 yards for the TD. It's 7-0 Auburn early.
Auburn stays with the run game as quarterback Rusty Marshall calls his own number as runs for a big first down to move the sticks and keep the drive alive.
Later in that same drive, it's Perry again as he goes over 100 yards rushing in the first half with the powerful 31 yard run.
Auburn then finishes that series with a one yard TD run by FullBack Carter Brockman. That made the score 14-0 with Auburn in the lead.
Just seconds before halftime, Rural Retreat is able to get on the board with a three yard pass to Wyatt Sage. The extra point was good. It's was 14-7 at the half, but there wasn't nearly enough of that as Auburn poured it on in the second half to win it 35 to 7.
