Bobby Martin Named Martinsville High School Football Coach

High school football season is just about three months away and former GW Danville and William Fleming head coach Bobby Martin has a new job as head coach at Martinsville.
He takes over for the program for Giles product Nathan Tanner who led the Bulldogs for two seasons before leaving for a job in West Virginia.
Martin led William Fleming for five seasons before resigning last year. He played collegiately at Virginia Tech and can't wait to get started with his new team.
"Born and raised here," Martin said. " I've been here my whole life. I've seen some of the greatest years here for the Martinsville Bulldogs in basketball and football. Just an opporunity to come back home and help build more than just a football program and team, build the whole community."
