Brookville at Heritage

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) -- At City Stadium in Lynchburg, the Brookville offense had a sense of urgency tonight against Heritage after the Bees produced just 89 yards last week in their first loss against EC Glass.

The Bees out to make a statement on the road after last week's loss.

The Bee-fence rose up early shutting down the Pioneers run game. Brookville's Collin Rector leading the charge right there.

But Heritage broke a scoreless tie early in the second quarter. Ki Vaughan barrels in from short yardage to make it 7-nothing Pioneers. It stayed that way until the third quarter.

Defense the story tonight. Brookville never got anything going as Heritage stifled everything on the way to a 28 to 7 win.
