William Byrd at Northside

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7)-- William Byrd and Northside renewed their rivalry off Peters Creek Road.

Northside took control early. Sidney Webb looks down the middle and he's got Isaac Earls. Earls wins the footrace to the endzone on a 60-yard touchdown strike and it's 7-0 Vikings.

Byrd had something cooking on the next drive, but Logan Baker gets sacked by Zach Horton and Gavyn Preston. The Terriers settled for a field goal.

Webb then calls his own number and he's got running room. He houses it on an 80-yard score. They missed the point after so it's 13-3.

Just before the half, Webb again, puts it up for Quentin Slash who makes the spectacular one handed grab in the back of the endzone. It was 19-3 at that point and the Vikings go on to knock out Byrd ___ to ___ the final.
