Dawgs trade Phil Bronner to Quad City for future considerations

ROANOKE, Va. – The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Monday that forward Phil Bronner has been traded to the Quad City Storm in exchange for future considerations.

Bronner first joined the Dawgs via a trade with the Evansville Thunderbolts during the 2016-17 season. Over 84 combined games with Roanoke he netted 12 goals along with 22 assists. The veteran forward finished the 2017-18 campaign with seven goals, 16 assists and 60 penalty minutes over 49 games played.
Additionally, goaltender Ryan Mulder has been released from training camp.

The Rail Yard Dawgs open their regular season on the road in Fayetteville against the Marksmen on Friday night at 7:00 PM. Roanoke’s home opener, presented by Haley Toyota with WROV is set for Saturday night as the Dawgs take on the Knoxville Ice Bears. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 PM at Berglund Center.
