DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- The GW Eagles would come out hoping to get off to a fast start
but Dresean Kendrick would give the Hilltoppers the early momentum making moves all to way to the endzone as Glass goes up 7 to 0.

The Eagle high powered offense would look to fire back but the Hilltopper Defense brought their A-game, getting the ball back into Kendrick's hands who leaves a defender reaching with a quick move, as he takes it to the house on a 65-yard run.

On the next Hilltopper possession, they'd build onto their lead as Quoterris Craighead, stays on his feet and gets into the endzone, 21-0 Hilltoppers.

Looking to hit the board before halftime, Will Edmunds would break free down the sideline for a touchdown, making it 21 to 7 Hilltoppers at the half.

The Hilltoppers went on to shut down GW's offense as they go on to win 49 to 15.
