Floyd County made the short trip to Riner Friday, where the Buffaloes renewed their rivalry with Auburn.

Early on the Buffs turn it over on the muffed punt and Auburn's Rusty Marshall is there to fall on it to put the Eagles in business.

Payson Kelley sneaks it in as he dives across the goal line and it was 7-nothing Auburn early in this one.

Big Mason Keith gets the carry and he breaks a couple of tackles and bulls his way in on the score to even things up.

But on the ensuing kickoff, the Eagles special teams make a play. Malachi Spencer fumbles the ball and then looks like he's corralled, but he somehow squirts free and he's off to the races on a 78 yard touchdown return and just like that Auburn had regained the lead.

Avery Chaffin going up top for Tyler Fenton. That's a touchdown. It was tied at 14. Auburn won it by a final of 28 to 21.
