Former Hokie Ty Outlaw to play basketball overseas in Greece

BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) -- Former Virginia Tech guard Ty Outlaw will officially continue his basketball career overseas.

Outlaw is headed to Greece, where he will suit up for G.S. Lavrio B.C. in the Greek Basketball League.

The three-point specialist averaged 7.5 points per game in his career at Tech, and led the Hokies in 3-point field goal percentage last season.

It's been a fruitful summer so far for former Hokies on the basketball court. Nickeil Alexander-Walker was drafted by New Orleans and Justin Robinson signed a deal with Washington, while Ahmed Hill got a look in the NBA Summer League.
