ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Roanoke Catholic carried a 30 game winning streak into Friday’s VISAA Division 3 state title game against Fuqua. The Celtics were in their fifth final, going for their third title in a row and fifth championship in school history.
In the first quarter Kawuan Ray took a pitch broke free for a score. Ray would add a second TD run shortly thereafter and give the Celtics a 14-0 lead.
Elamin Shareef gave Roanoke Catholic an early 26-0 lead, and the Celtics rolled to a 61-8 championship victory.
