More than bragging rights were on the line at the home of the Raiders, as Appomattox and Gretna faced off.

During the first quarter on the Raider's opening drive, QB Tre Lawing brought the ball with a quick hand off and sets up an explosive run from runningback Christian Ferguson to put Appomttox withing striking range.

A few plays later, Lawing punches it in for the score. A missed extra point makes it 6-0 Raiders.

Gretna with the ball now, and a quick handoff from QB Tabron Mabins to Daelyn Miller sets up a big run from the star of last week's win over Radford.

A few plays later, Mabins takes the snap, looks, fires and it's bobbled but then caught by number 4 Jorden Berger.

Fourth down now, Mabins again looking to repeat that magic, he fires a bomb to the back corner of the endzone and it's caught, but just out of bounds. Raiders take over on downs.

Next drive, Raiders just short of the endzone.

Lawing gives a quick handoff to Ferguson, who slides around the outside for the score. A 2 point conversion makes it 14-0.

Moving to the second half now, and it doesn't take long for Appomattox to pick right back up where they left off, as Ferguson just leaves everyone in the dust on his way to the endzone.

Early in the 4th, Gretna is looking ready to finally put some points on the board. Mabins, on the run, looks, throws, but it's the Raider's Tez Booker who comes down with it! He is not stopping there, as the defensive back goes 90 yards all the way to the endzone.

Gretna was able to put some points on the board late in the half, but it just wasn't enough as the Raiders won it all 35-14.
