CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Virginia junior Kyle Guy, the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four during the Cavaliers' run to the national championship, said Tuesday that he will remain in the the NBA Draft, officially ending his time at UVA.
"Saying goodbye twice is not easy," Guy Tweeted on Tuesday. "I am officially keeping my name in the draft."
Although early entrants to the draft have until June 10 to withdraw -- unless they have signed with an agent -- Guy decided to stick with his decision. He did not say that he had singed with an agent when he made his plan to enter the draft known April 16.
Guy's decision marks another departure for the Cavs, who also have lost Mamadi Diakite, Ty Jerome and De'Andre Hunter to the draft, and Marco Anthony, who plans to transfer.
