SAN JOSE, Calif. (WDBJ7) -- Virginia Tech (24-8) is looking for its first win in the NCAA Tournament since 2007 tonight, as the No. 4 seed Hokies battle No. 13 seed Saint Louis (23-12) tonight from the SAP Center in San Jose, CA.

Virginia Tech's last tournament win came in 2007, when as a No. 5 seed they defeated No. 12 Illinois in the first round.

Virginia Tech advanced to the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament last week before falling to Florida State.

Saint Louis upset the Hokies 77-71 in Madison Square Garden on Nov. 16, 2017. The Billikens are coached by former Kentucky standout Travis Ford, who previously coached at Oklahoma State.

With a win, the Hokies would either face No. 5 seed Mississippi State or possibly local rival Liberty, should the Flames pull of an upset Friday night.
