Lord Botetourt's Scottie Cook commits to Lee University

BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) -- Lord Botetourt volleyball continues to produce exceptional results in competition, and in their players.

Today, Scottie Cook committed to play for Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee next year. The senior has back to back state titles to her name, scoring the final point against Tabb in last month's class 3 championship.

Scottie also plays basketball for the Cavaliers and was a part of the championship team in 2017. Lee runs in the Cook family, and Scottie is excited to pick up the torch.

Scottie Cook: "It's very exciting. It's gonna be volleyball 24-7 when I get to college. So can't wait, can't wait for that, to go up to the next level and play a tougher competition and get better, get better every day. So I'm really excited. I really love Lord Botetourt and the relationships I've formed with the girls on the team. It's been quite a journey the past couple years."
