HARRISONBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) -- While several Virginia and Virginia Tech players hope to hear their names called this weekend during the NFL Draft, James Madison defensive back Jimmy Moreland tops the list of players expected to be drafted from Virginia Schools in the Championship Subdivision.

Moreland tallied 18 interceptions during his career at JMU, returning five of those for touchdowns. He was a first-team All-America pick for the Dukes.

Moreland has been interviewed by the Colts, Browns and 49ers, among others ahead of the draft. He has been projected to be drafted between the third and seventh round, making him the first Dukes player drafted since 2013.
