Northside at William Fleming

ROANOKE, Va (WDBJ7) -- In Roanoke, unbeaten Northside tried to stay that way tonight and avoid slipping up against win-less William Fleming.

It was homecoming night at Fleming where Taniah Johnson was named queen and Isaiah Walker the king.

The Colonels down 7-zip late in the first half, trying to get something cooking. Elijah Davis going deep but it's picked off by the Vikings Shyreek Dews and Northside led by 7 at the break.

In the second half, the Vikings defense makes another play, forcing the fumble and Dews is johnny on the spot to make the recovery inside the 20.

Two plays later, they give it to Princton Hall and he dances in for 6 and just like that it was 14-nothing Vikings early in the third.

On the next possession, it's Jalen Jackson rolling left but he can't find a receiver so he tucks it under and heads the other way, all the way to the end zone. Northside answers the call in the second half to win it 33 to 7.
