ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Northside brought "Hail to the Victors" to the Southside at Bogle on Friday night when the Vikings hosted Tunstall in week 2 of the high school playoffs, and that fight song would ring all night in a 51-7 demolition of the Trojans.

Northside hosts Tunstall in playoff action.

The Vikings got the scoring underway early, when Jalen Jackson took a quarterback keeper up the middle and nearly scored before being dragged down inside the Trojans’ 10 yard-line. Jackson would cap the drive with another keeper to put the Vikings up 6-0.

After a three-and-out, Tunstall’s punt attempt was nearly blocked before Northside’s Christian Fisher returned it up the sideline before being dragged down by his facemask. That penalty was offset by a holding call on Northside, forcing fourth down to be replayed. This time, the snap was short, dribbling through punter Zach Mensavage’s legs before being recovered by Tyrel McEnheimer inside the Tunstall 10.

On the first play for Northside, Fisher cruised in for a 12-0 Northside lead.

After more Tunstall struggles on offense, Princton Hall got the call to cap off another drive for another score for the Vikings.
