UVA fans take over the Corner after the Wahoos' Final Four win

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WCAV) -- UVA fans celebrated their team's Final Four victory over the Auburn Tigers on the Corner on Saturday night.

Hundreds of fan celebrated on University Avenue and 14th street after the game ended.

The road was blocked and Charlottesville and UVA police were on site to make sure people partied safely and responsibly.

Laila Al Rawi shared her thoughts on UVA's victory and the Wahoos upcoming game on Monday.

"I'm super excited, said Al Rawi. "I'm nervous but I definitely think we can bring it."

She also talked about her plans for Monday if the Wahoos win the national championship.

"I will be here and I will be all around screaming like everyone else," Al Rawi. "To be determined after that."

UVA will face the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Monday night on CBS19 at 9:20 p.m. for the national championship.
