CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) -- Virginia's lacrosse team will face Robert Morris Saturday night in Charlottesville, and today head coach Lars Tiffany was named ACC Coach of the Year.
It marks the 10th time a UVA head coach earned the honor and is the first time since Dom Starsia took home the accolade in 2009. Tiffany is the third different UVA head coach to be named ACC Coach of the Year.
The Hoos finished the regular season 13-3, including a 5-1 mark against ACC opponents. UVA is the third overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
