UVA welcomes first ACC match up of the season

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) -- UVA missed out on a home field advantage situation this past weekend, winning their game against Ohio in Nashville, but head coach Bronco Mendenhall is stressing the opportunity they have this weekend, welcoming ACC opponent Louisville to Scott Stadium.

"I like the resiliency of our team. We've demonstrated that we're capable but inconsistent is what I think we've shown so far. And that's been my message to the team in the riding home areas where we have to improve, knowing the clock is ticking," head coach Bronco Mendenhall said. "Having Louisville come in as a nice incentive just to say, you know, Let's go!"

"Every game is equally as important, but when we play at home, we gotta win, because it's easier to win at home than it is on the road, but honestly, it shouldn't really matter. Anywhere we go, we played in Nashville, it shouldn't matter where we play. At the end of the day, it's a football game," senior wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus said.
