BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ7/AP)-- The Hokies men's basketball team came up short Saturday, 74-63, trying to defend their homecourt and improve their 14-7 record against the 17-3 Seminoles.

Tyrece Radford led the way for the Hokies with 18 points.

Devin Vassell tied an ACC record by going 7 of 7 from 3-point range and helping fifth-ranked Florida State beat Virginia Tech. The Seminoles rebounded from a loss at Virginia this week that snapped a 10-game winning streak.

Virginia Tech lost its third straight game Saturday.
