BLACKSBURG, Va (WDJB7) -- Yavuz Gultekin, a Turkish-born forward out of Maryland, has announced that he will no longer attend Virginia Tech this fall.

Gultekin, a 6-foo-8 forward from Turkey, announced his departure from the program on Instagram.

"I want to thank all the Virginia Tech family and the Hokie fans for welcoming me into your community," he said in the post. "After coach Buzz's departure, I have decided to reconsider my options."

Gultekin is the second Virginia Tech recruit to back out of his commitment since Williams announced that he was leaving to return to his alma mater, Texas Tech.

New Virginia Tech Coach Mike Young now has new holes to fill on the Hokies' roster. Virginia Tech finished the season ranked No. 14 in the final AP poll, the school's highest finish in history.
