No. 10 Virginia Tech has high hopes at the start of ACC play

BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) -- Saturday is a big day for ACC basketball. First on the calendar, the Virginia Tech men are back in action at Cassell Coliseum against Boston College.

Buzz Williams and the tenth ranked Hokies cruised past Notre Dame 81-66 on Monday. A performance like that proves to them that rising to the top of the ACC is not too far out of reach.

"It's a dream come true, maybe bigger than any dream we've had to compete on this level. Similar to the vibe of your questions, to play with a team that's mature and has an idea of what's coming," Virginia Tech head basketball coach Buzz Williams said.

"I honestly didn't know until today that we play Boston College Saturday. I think overall just staying in today and staying in the groove and worrying about us instead not the opponent is what's gonna happen. The only team that can beat us is ourselves so I think from here on out, we just gotta focus on that," senior guard Justin Robinson said.
