William Byrd at EC Glass

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) -- William Byrd took the Coach Jeff Highfill farewell tour to City Stadium in Lynchburg Friday where the Terriers hoped to extend Highfill's stay as head coach against EC Glass.

Late in the third quarter, Byrd driving, but the bad snap loses them 18 yards. They would have to punt.

E.C Glass would then score on a quick drive, with Dresean Kendrick running down the sidelines for 50 yards and the toucdown.

It was 28-14 Glass.

Byrd would fight back with the beautiful sceen pass and the GREAT block down field. Byrd now has first and goal.

Quarterback Samuel Dantzler would then take it in himself on the one yard sneak, it was now 28-21.

Late in the 4th Byrd has one more chance to tie the game but the pass is broken up.
