William Campbell at Lord Botetourt

BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Injuries have hit Lord Botetourt hard in the early part of the season. Tailback Hunter Rice is expected to miss at least a few more weeks and this week came word that quarterback and defensive back Evan Eller has been lost for the season with a torn ACL.

It was homecoming tonight in Daleville as the Cavaliers hosted William Campbell.

Sarah Graham was named the queen, Jeremiah Isaacs the king.

The Cavaliers did their damage long before that big announcement. Early on, check out James Ryan Salvi hit Kyle Arnholt in the flat. Arnholt scoots in on the 7 yard TD and it was 7-0 LB.

A few minutes later, it's Dillon Wade up the gut, the hard earned run ends in the endzone to give the Cavaliers a two score advantage.

The Cavs then go to the air. Salvi pumps and goes deep, looking for Arnholt and he hauls it in on the 57 yard strike, breaking a tackle on his way to the crib and LB was cruising up 21-zip.

Wade gets loose again on the next series. He finds running room and squirts free for a 62 yard TD gallop. Botetourt led 34-nothing at the half and rolls to the 48 to nothing win.
