UPDATE: Woman identified in fatal Roanoke shooting

A Roanoke woman is dead after a shooting in northwest Sunday afternoon.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. along the 2000 block of Hanover Ave.
Police have identified the victim as Tacchalla Michelle Harper, 37, of Roanoke.
Police are treating this as a homicide.
The man involved in the incident is cooperating with investigators, according to a Roanoke City Police spokesman.
