Two people killed in two-vehicle crash in Tazewell County

Two people have been killed in a two-vehicle accident in Tazewell County Sunday.
According to Virginia State Police, the accident happened on Route 631 near Route 607 in Tazewell County at around 12:15 a.m. Sunday.
Police say Jeffrey A. Vance, 32, of Cedar Bluff, was driving his 2016 Chevrolet Cruz on Route 631 when the vehicle crossed the center line hitting a 2005 Nissan 350Z head-on.
The Nissan was driven by Brandon N. Patterson, 20, of North Tazewell.
Both Vance and Patterson died at the scene, according to police.
Police say neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
Police are still investigating this crash.
