Sheetz holding job fair for petroleum truck drivers

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - The Sheetz chain of convenience stores will hold a job fair this week for petroleum truck drivers in the Roanoke area.

CLI Transport, the company’s dedicated petroleum carrier, says it has immediate plans to hire drivers, so Sheetz will host a hiring event for prospective drivers Wednesday, June 18 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The job fair will be held at 6626 Thirlane Road NW, Roanoke, 24019.

Preferred candidates. Sheetz says, are people with a minimum of four years of verifiable tractor trailer experience and at least 260,000 miles driven.

Sheetz says, “CLI Transport operates more than 240 state-of-the-art tanker trucks and delivers more than 2 billion gallons of petroleum products as the petroleum carrier for Sheetz. CLI Transport team members are fully employed by Sheetz.”
