ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Today’s Tuesdays of Honor is a little extra special, because we’re highlighting a World War II veteran!
Cyrus Walker served in the United States Army from 1940 to 1945.
He was a paratrooper in the Pacific during World War II.
Walker must have set quite an example, because both of his sons, Gary and Tommy, followed in his footsteps and served in Vietnam.
Thank you to all three of these veterans for what y’all have done for this country. We appreciate you!
If you’d like to honor someone who served, submit a photo and information to WDBJ7.com.
