Roanoke’s Independence Day Celebration to feature live music, family activities and fireworks
Freedom Festival & Fireworks to begin at 5:00 pm on Friday, July 3
ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Roanoke is ready to put on a show to celebrate July 4th and America’s 250th birthday.
The Roanoke Freedom Festival is scheduled for Friday, July 3 at River’s Edge Park North in Roanoke.
The event is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The kids’ fun zone will open at 4:00 pm.
Among the free family activities will be inflatables, trampolines, face painting and more.
Food trucks will also be set up on site.
5 Points Music Sanctuary will also provide lineup of local and regional musicians to perform live at the event.
