Senior home coach discusses aging in place book on Here @ Home

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Senior Home Coach Beth Powell joined “Here @ Home” on WDBJ7 to talk about the book “Aging in Place Conversations: The Housing Edition,” which was recently released. Powell wrote Chapter 3 of the book.

“I talk about the shortage of accessible housing and what I’ve done personally that’s out-of-the-box thinking,” Powell said.

Powell is the owner of Home with Heart. She has worked with family members and seniors to help them make decisions about living situations. She has also helped them with decisions about reducing clutter, downsizing, trusts, wills, estates and nursing home research.

Her services include Stay-in-Place Home Review, Savings and Benefits Scan, Contractor Coordination and Family Photo organizing.
