ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - A teenage boy from Roanoke died after an early morning shooting in Myrtle Beach.
Myrtle Beach Police Department officers responded early Saturday morning to a shooting on North Ocean Blvd.
The coroner’s office states Jakolbi Taylor, 16, was shot while in the 16th Avenue N. Beach access. Taylor died at the scene.
Authorities say Taylor was with friends and family who were visiting from Roanoke.
Myrtle Beach Police are investigating the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
